Attractions and Activities
There are many attractions and things to do when you come to Blackpool aimed at entertaining tourists of all ages. Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a place that is perfect for a family and is an amusement park located on the south promenade. Currently it is the most visited theme park in the country and it is easy to see why over six million visitors come here each year with the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster that was built in 1994. At a height of 65 metres the top speed is 74 miles per hour which is something thrill seekers will love to experience. There are a host of other rides and roller coasters to enjoy here and you can spend an entire day away from your Blackpool holiday resort enjoying this world class attraction.
